Dinner is provided.
The food YOU cook is only for judging by our guest judges. YOU are not eating it as we have YOUR dinner catered for bbq-ing. =)
STYLE OF COMPETITION: Iron Chef Style
There are a set of criteria to be followed on the food you are cooking.
It will be a 3 course meal consisting of:
Starter: SALAD (any type)
Main: SEASONAL FISH
Side: CHEESE
You only have $15 to spend on your main ingredients. Please retain receipts for claims.
Only a BBQ pit will be provided for your cooking. All other equipment is to be brought by you. There will be space and a table for your use.
You have 30 mins for preparation (including starting of the fire),
1hour for actual cooking. 15mins after start of actual cooking, the SALAD is to be served.
As for the side, you can choose the sequence to when it will be served, provided you keep within the time limit.
After 1hour of actual cooking, all dishes must be served. There will not be any extra time given. You have to serve whatever is done. Thus, please allocate your time well.
